As Chief Program Officer at Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Orange County, Jenny Leon currently oversees the Training, Education, Family Connections and Case Supervisor/Program Management departments. She has served in many capacities since joining the CASA team in 2009. Leon previously served as CASA Program Director supervising half of the case supervisor staff as well as CASA waitlist and matching efforts; Director of Training, overseeing the initial and ongoing training of volunteers; and Case Supervisor, providing regular support and supervision to CASA volunteers. She also worked as the Program Associate from 2005-2006.
Jenny Leon has worked with children and families in a variety of roles during her career, including Children’s Social Worker with Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services as well as a Substitute Teacher with Orange Unified School District. She has also served as a School Social Work and Counseling Intern, Preschool Teacher’s Aid, and “Big Sibling” Mentor with Boston University’s Siblings program.
Jenny Leon earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Boston University and her Masters in Social Work at California State University, Long Beach. She also earned a Pupil Personnel Services Credential during her Masters work.
